Team,
The Final-Final tests were successful. All of the critical payloads are
functional, and we are Ready to GO!! Glitches? Yeah, there are a few, but
we see NO real problems. The only item that is not fully compliant with our
expectations is the video computer. We get some resets and this puts up
data screens across the video when we would prefer none, but it's not that
bad, and there is some useful data that is needed for future flights. We
intend to cut down the payload just above 70,000 feet. If this happens, the
predicted ground track from AB5SS is 21.5 miles at 215 degrees. If the cut
down fails we go 25.5 miles. Not too bad. We'll take it!!
I'll see you at our hanger at the Wharton Municipal Airport SOON!!
