The airport has been notified...

At present, all hangers are occupied, but 'Z' (the fellow in the red plane
that helps with the airport and spotted a downed blt awhile back).. says
they have a hanger where a plane can be rolled out for the blt...

I confirmed this with him last night... Andy.. you should have received a
copy of his email, if not, let me know...

I've attached a word document form I used back on blt-17... hopefully Andy
and Wild Bill can fill in the blanks..

BLT-19 Team,

Final Integration is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th at 8 PM at the
Secret BLT Lab (310 Lombardy in Sugar Land).

For those of you with hardware:

Our primary balloon is a Totex 1000. Keep your weight DOWN!

If you are using main power - label your leads and make sure they are at
least 30" long. Main power is ~15VDC. I will need to know your current
consumption ASAP.

Sub Payloads should have bypass caps and appropriate ferrite beads.
They should also be packaged in foam and stiff aluminum foil - sealed up
with aluminum tape.

Cameras should be pre-mounted in styrafoam for easy integration into the
main foam box.

If you are not using package power, use sulfur-dioxide Lithium cells
whenever possible.

Be sure that your sub-payloads are thoroughly tested and ready to fly!

For those of you providing support services:

We need ground-track predictions.

Has the airport been notified?

Is the helium on order?

Is the hellium fill system ready?

Tape, cord, swivels, more tape?

Do we have comm frequencies?

Do we have quality video reception and recording gear ready?

For those of you attending and chasing:

Are you ready to track GPS (440.950 MHz)?
Make SURE that your GPS does not beacon on 440.950 MHz!!!

Do you have comm radio(s)?

Are you ready to talk via the cross-band voice repeater?

Let me know!

Andy W5ACM
