Greetings,
On behalf of the Southeastern VHF Society, I would like to invite you to
join us in Marietta, Georgia April 14-15 2000 for the Fourth Annual
Southeastern VHF Society Technical Conference. Registration, program
details hotel and travel information can be found at http//www.svhfs.org/svhfs.

The conference promises to be an interesting & exciting event with
technical papers & presentations from accomplished VHF+ amateur radio
enthusiasts from several parts of the country. In addition, we will have
antenna gain measurements, pre-amp gain and noise figure measurements, the
Friday evening auction, and of course the Saturday evening banquet which is
open to everyone. Our guest speaker at the banquet this year is Joel
Harrison W5ZN, ARRL Vice President and successful VHF+ enthusiast. Drawings
for the notoriously enviable door prizes will follow the banquet. There is
a well-planned family program for children & spouses to enjoy the Atlanta
area while the radio ops are attending the conference. VHF+ vendors on the
roster for this year include M2, Down East Microwave, Byers Chassis and IDC
Technology, with products available from several other vendors.

Also, we issue a printed newsletter two or three times per year which
carries details about the conference and related VHF+ issues. If you would
like to be added to our mailing list for this newsletter, please respond to
me directly with your name, call sign & address information. Additionally,
we have the current issue of the newsletter available in Adobe Acrobat
form. You may request it via E-mail from me, or download it our web page.

You will not be added automatically to our printed mailing list, only
positive respondents will be added. We do have an E-mail reflector, which
is open to any interested person. Simply surf to our web page & follow the
links to subscribe to the reflector.

73 & thank you for your time,
Robin Midgett KB4IDC
