[HATS] GPS accuracy

Wow!

Something that my Garmin could never do was to give consistent altitude. I
tried it this morning and again at noon and I now get reading for altitude
that are consistent and repeatable! With SA turned on, the altitude readings
would vary as much as +- 200-300 feet. Now I get readings that are within
2-3 feet and I get the same readings when I drive away and come back. Before
the readings would seem like they would float wherever they wanted to.

Hope I don't have an accident while I'm checking this out.....

This will be great for things like balloon launches, and maybe it would be
fun to put into an R/C controlled aircraft. Not sure I would want to land
based on the GPS reading quite yet however.
