Gang,
At the last HATS meeting (10/11/2000) we made several announcements about
the new configuration of the HATS repeaters. Since that meeting, we have
made the decision (per request from the folks who were there) to deploy a
second 23cm FM receiver. Now, each site will have its own 23cm
receiver. Site A (original RX site) will have 1265 Mhz. receiver. Site B
(old backup site) will have 1255 Mhz. receiver. This means that if you are
going to operate the Main Site A (preferred as it has outputs on 2.4 ghz.
AND links to site B) then you need to re-set your jumpers to 1265. If you
cannot get into A but can get into B, you will only be retransmitted on
421.25. You can leave your jumpers as is on 1255.
Please check the webpage for more details and jumper settings if you have
misplaced your HATS transmitter documentation.

More info as the systems come on-line. For those who missed the meeting
(SHAME), Site A is scheduled to be back in service (1265 in, 2423.25 out)
by end of October. Site B is scheduled to be back in service by early
November (1255 in, 421.25 out). Again, there will be a 915 mhz. FM link
FROM Site A TO Site B.
