EMT aluminum conduit WILL bend quite easily.....but rigid 
thick walled alum. or galvanized steel conduit would be better 
on tower tops due to the weight of the antenna it supports...
and I wouldnt use anything less than 1 7/8" dia in the mode..
Of course I have used 1/2" EMT in building 6m yagis...but I wouldn't 
try to support a heavy antenna with it :)
