Gang,
Bill, K5BDZ donated (quite a while ago) his very large collection of
manuals for us to use as a fund raiser. Fate intervened in the form of the
great flood and the project had to wait for real life needs to be taken
care of.
But, its here. A page has now been placed on the HQRP website with a link
to the manual inventory page. That direct link is provided below..
http://www.hqrp.stevens.com/hqrp%20manuals.htm
On that page you will find every item donated by Bill, as well as
information on how to purchase one of these manuals. We're not trying to
get into the manual copy business - when they are sold, they are gone. We
are posting to the Houston lists first, and after you have an opportunity
to look through and make any orders for local delivery, we will go "public"
on the QRP-L.
There is some rather rare stuff in there, as well as some excellent
original brochures for radios long out of production. If you never got the
original brochure for your radio, you just might find it here.
All proceeds go to pay for the costs of the HQRP 2N2-40 Parts Kits that
were supplied to each HQRP member at the time of kitting.
Anyone may feel free to forward this announcement to other local lists -
just please don't give it national distribution for a bit so local hams
have first crack at it.
Thanks for your attention.
