[HQRP] FYI - 12 compressor current

FYI
These little 12 VDC air compressors that plug into your cigar lighter in the 
car and claim to produce 120 lbs pressure...

Thought you might like to know that although current is unlisted, I  measured 
it today on 2 units to be 2.85 Amps and 2.65 Amps respectively.

I believe the current will increase as the compressor gets hotter, usually 
around 10 minutes of continual usage.

QRP related?  How about blowing up bicycle tires (QRP mobile) or other air 
related items?

Will air car tires with 7 aH gel cell if needed (hot gel cell that is.)
