I think that's really neat.

I'm still looking forward to one day starting on and finishing the QRP Xcvr
kit I have on the work bench.

I'm guessing one would want to put an swr bridge in a DVM if there is no
room in the radio for the bridge.  Is that right?

If one had the room in the radio, would it be better to put the bridge in
the radio and feed out three tip jacks or something for the DVM probes to
connect to to view the forward or reflected power.  Once the SWR is where
one wants it, the DVM gets put away.
