[HQRP] OT: Laptop computer problem

Hi, all:
   At a recent swapfest, I bought a Zenith laptop
computer, model # IWL-212-03 ("MastersPort 286").
After an unsuccessful attempt to charge the battery
pack, I'm convinced that the adapter/charger is
malfunctioning (the appropriate LED didn't come on,
but did so momentarily when I squeezed the charger).
I have tried to pry open the two halves of the
charger unit (there aren't any screws).  There are
four internal latches (from what I can see),
and I was able to pry the two halves apart about
1-2 mm, but could not open the charger any more than
that.
   Does anyone know how to open the adapter/charger,
or else have another (model # ZA-360-3) and/or a
battery pack (model # ZA-360-2) that they would be
willing to sell me?
