Gee Guys, I hope that these have been forwarded to the Authorities.
The sooner these people are caught the better.
It sounds like a trend?
It wasn'tong ago that they busted a couple of rascals in NYC for Stealing
Identity information from credit card records.
Thanks for the reminder to keep up our vigil on these type of things.
It seems like I spend half of my time just hitting the delete key these
days. Even with SpamAssassan, I often get more spam than valid email.
I do notice that certain of the groups that I participate with are the
worst offenders.
Guess it is just some of what we have to live with in order to
communicate.
SPAMers and Telephone Marketeers are the bane of todays world...

The link looked just like an official ebay page, headers, graphics, spoofed address and all. When I saw what info they wanted, purportedly to "verify" my account info, I knew it was a scam. They wanted not only my name, email, password, and SS number, but also my mother's maiden name, bank info, etc. Incredible! I can't imagine anyone falling for this scam, but I'll bet somewhere there is some unsuspecting person who has had their complete identity stolen by this scam.
