[HQRP] our email addresses are being posted on the internet
for spammers to collect

The return address is to the poster to protect those who send a quick
reply without considering whether the reply goes to the group rather
than the individual who sent the original message. It has helped save
some people from some serious embarrassment!
I use Mailman 2.0.13 as the list manager. I have specifically chosen the
option to obfuscate the email addresses. I think it is supposed to
replace @ with _at_. Apparently the feature is "broken."
I have also chosen to make the archives available on the web because
they have great value for anyone doing research on a problem that has
been addressed in a list.
