Hi Folks!
Just a "heads up" for you.
The last meeting left a lot of items in limbo, thus we have tentatively
scheduled the next meeting for June 7th at 8 PM at 310 Lombardy in Sugar
Land (the secret BLT lab).
The web page is undergoing changes to consolidate the BLT info. Check it
out during this "under construction" phase at:

Belinda Louise Tesla has news...
ALSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Booker T. Washington High School is getting ready for their second ballon
flight on Thursday, May 18th at 10 AM from the Wharton Municipal Airport!
They will have a fireball on 28.322 MHz and a pressure sensor sending an
audio tone on FRS channel 1. The atmospheric pressure is directly
proportional to the frequency of the tone, i.e. the lower the pressure, the
lower the tone. Members of the South Texas Balloon Launch Team have been
providing free consulting to the BTW crew. More later...
AND THERE's MORE!!!
There will be a special three-frequency fireball flight on Saturday, May
20th at 8 PM from a site near Lake Livingston. Don't miss it! I will have
frequencies posted to the web site when they are available. The bands will
include 6, 10 and 20 meters. Sounds like FUN, and a good prelude to the
flight of BLT-17 on July 15th.
What's a fireball? Do some surfing... There is a link to previous BLT
flights on the page noted above. Look for the "fire" info...
