BLT launched from Warton, TX is now on the ground.
I copied the ten meter signal until 2020utc here in Houston, TX until I could
not hear any signal.
The beep rate of the signal on ten got up as high as 176/min just two minutes
before LOS.
At 1920-1940utc the beep rate was 4/min and S9 on my beam direction 250 deg.
At 2011utc rate was 48/min.
AT 2015utc rate was 112/min.
At 2018utc rate was 176.min and S3.
LOS between 2019-2020.

A friend Dave W5BXX lives north of Hull airport about Hwy 6 and old Hwy 90A,
copied the signal S9 when I copied it S7 here. His tower is up about 60 ft
with a large log periodic. Dave could not hear the signal after it was down.

I am now debating if I can locate the ten meter signal by just heading out
Hwy 90A past Richmond/Rosenberg. If the package is on the ground it will be
very hard to find by just driving around north of Wharton towards the East
Bernard-Wallis, TX area. I have no GPS data. I could not hear anything on
FRS ch 9 from my house south of West University. Those of you that have a
Roads of Texas map see page 133.

More later. 73 Mike N5MT
