I went looking for BLT about 6pm today after loosing the signal.
I figured it was 25 or more miles due west of Sugarland, TX since this was
the last bearing Dave W5BXX had before he could not hear it on his beam. My
last was about 245 degrees from WUniversity area.

I did not listen on the FRS freq as my uhf radio would not go up that far, so
I only used the 28320 freq.

My route from W University area was hwy 59 to 90A, then west through
Richmond, Rosenburg staying on 90A until E Barnard, north on hwy 60 up to
Wallis, back east on hwy 36 to Rosenburg.
About sundown we turned north on hwy 723 to hwy 1093 then east until it
becomes Westheimer and back into Houston.

Nothing was ever hurd on ten except south america and a mobile in CA.
I suspect the BLT was farther west towards Eagle Lake. Anything closer would
have been heard by my friend in Sugarland.
