Hi guys,
We've picked up an Eimac UHF cavity, model CV-2800, intended for
"Land Mobile Base Station Service" in the 850-870 MHz band, and would
like to convert it to an equivalent of the model CV-2805 or CV-2810,
which
cover 875-935 MHz. and 910-970 Mhz. respectively. Our need is as a
linear
amplifier for AM ATV at a carrier frequency of 923.25 MHz., which either
of
the latter two models would cover.
Can this be done? Has anyone any experience in this to pass along to
us?
(I have a vertical mill and lathe available for precision machining.)
It appears that these 250 watt amplifiers are appearing in abundance
with the
decommissioning of land mobile sites, and should make excellent ATV
amps!
Help please?
Thanks!
