I am still new enough to not know what is rare and what is not.

But --- I do know when I find a station that is odd enough I still get
excited!

I just worked FK8HG on 20m sorta'-QRP in Noumea, New Caledonia. I
have not measured my output, but Alinco says on Low power it is less
than 10 watts. Since my power supply is undersized and "droops" I
figure I was at about 8 watts. I worked him in PSK31 with a Windom
tossed over the trees by N5EM and WA5TWT. He was 249 in here but gave
me a 459 back.

A few days ago I worked PJ5/UA1ACX in St. Eustatius in the Carribean,
but I had to bump up to QRO @ 75 W to complete the QSL.

I am finding hams where I didn't even know there were countries.

BTW, does the ARRL bureau work for New Caledonia?

Ron, AG5RS
