[HQRP] ??? on TenTec Regen Mod 1253 RX

Has anyone built or used the Ten Tec Regen Receiver model 1253?  (That's the 
one for $69 plus shipping)

Would be interested to have e-mail visit about a few particulars of this Rx 
before buying one.
