Thanks, one and all, for your feedback.
*Assuming* that I stumbled upon a way to get rid of that infected
file,
i.e., moving them to a floppy disk (I *think* that was what did the
trick),
I have another question: In checking the C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\ folder, I
note
that there are 535 (!) files, all but one of which were created today. I
wonder--should I try to delete all of those 534 files on the assumption
that
they were created by that virus, or should I just let them be? Right
now,
I'm thinking that they're unnecessary. What do you think? TIA.
