Well...I was gone to Alaska for most of the summer. Quite a nice place to visit. I rode the Alaska Marine Highway ferry
back to Bellingham WA and then flew. The boat is THE way to travel.
As to the club, I have found from my activity in scouts that I make a good second fiddle, but a terrible leader. If
someone wants to take charge and tell me what we need to do, ..... That is a tough role, but someone needs to do it.
Any born leaders out there?
Anyone know where to get MAV-11 MMICs in the Houston area. I am intreged with the MARV-1 designed by George
Burt, GM3OXX, published in SPRAT 115. I could use a MAR-6 (Dan's has those) but the reduction in power is
considerable.
I have been looking at my Homebrewer. It is quite a rag. There are a number of good articles inside. The class E
transmitter is interesting. Does anyone know how to design the type of antenna changeover used. I would like to
know how to desigh them for NON-class E rigs.
