Hey Guys,
My YL and I moved back to 4-land after 10 years in Houston.
I just found HQRP last year and had only been to a few meetings, but I
really enjoyed the informal atmosphere and the show-and-tells. I hadn't been
in a ham club for years.
Going portable was the best way for me to get on the air, and with your
encouragment I finally did with a QRP station (NorCal 40). Thanks to Ed for
convincing me that I had aligned the rig correctly.
I just finished a Wilderness Sierra and hope to have it on the air soon.
Listen for me on 40m Novice band, weekends.
I'll still be reading the mail here,
Greg W.
